The recent release of Pokemon Scarlett and Violet made fans of the series happy — but not necessarily for the right reasons.

Comb the Twitter feeds of tech-savvy Pokémon trainers who have already begun their journey in Paldea, and you’ll find a mixed bag of reviews. Among the usual cute Pokémon clips and thoughtful reviews are examples of some of the most bizarre insect Pokémon ever in the 26-year-old series so far — some of which we’ve tested ourselves. In which Pokémon Scarlet and Violet reviewIn Exclaim!, Cat Bussell of TRG said the games were “full of frame rate drops, performance issues, and more than the occasional glitch.”

Fortunately for Japanese developer Game Freak, however, many Pokémon fanatics are seeing the funny side of these bugs and glitches — in fact, some of them are useful. From useful hacks to straight-up silly, we’ve rounded up the most bizarre Pokémon scarlet and purple bugs and glitches we’ve discovered on the internet here for you to enjoy.

Pokemon Steer Mashed

Playing Pokemon is as easy as riding a bike. If you did it once, you can do it again. But Scarlett and Violet have some guys asking the question: What if that bike was invisible?

This is what Twitter user OoCPokemon showed us in the clip above, where the player is seen moving around on an invisible machine that looks like a bike.

But wait: what if the bike It was not Bicycle, but a legendary Pokemon called Coraidon or Meridon? And what if you drove it through your friend’s bodies (without hurting them, of course) while growing five extra feet like some kind of terrified and excited Slenderman?

The two aforementioned bugs seem to activate when you swap out a trusted Pokémon friend who accompanies you out of the box – Koraidon for Pokémon Scarlet owners, and Miraidon if you’ve caught Pokémon Violet. Players have discovered some really weird glitches when playing in co-op mode, so it’s worth joining up with friends to find out what the new hell your poor and tired are. Oh, and speaking of the co-op mode, this glitch likely caught many gamers’ eyes out of shock when they first stumbled upon it. Kocha8164 shared on Twitter this bizarre clip from the game where one of the two characters on screen appears to have had their physical assets completely hacked out, with their eyes sticking out of their faces like in the old Cartoon Network show.

It’s both scary and funny, but we see how annoying this guy can get after a while.

What is happening…

This is perhaps Scarlet/Violet’s cleverest, yet most useful trick. You can easily go up slopes you’re not supposed to by just backing up. pic.twitter.com/RRwveA1m9jNovember 20, 2022

If you’re looking for something a little more serious on the serious front, Twitter user ZullieTheWitch has you covered with this misinformation that’s actually quite useful.

According to the above trailer, you can manipulate the game to allow you to climb higher terrain simply by jumping on a wall and quickly moving backwards. This allows you to completely bypass areas of the map, which isn’t necessarily great if you’re exploring the game for the first time, but it will save you a lot of time if you need to backtrack at all.

The triple whammy

Finally, this last flaw gives a whole new meaning to the term “air guitar”. Twitter user Kalhan R shared a clip in which one of their characters appeared to be having some difficulty with their movement, their arms and head bouncing comically.

It’s too early to tell if Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will rank high on the lists The best pokemon games Not at all, but just because a game is riddled with a string of bugs doesn’t mean it won’t.

We can tell a lot from the high rating of Pokemon Go, which it has witnessed Fair share of gigs On and off since its 2016 release.

Although Pokémon games are widely considered a negative thing, they are notorious for their glitches. The most famous of these has to be the mysterious Pokemon Red and Blue case of Pokemon #152, Missing (Opens in a new tab).

This bug created an entirely new Pokemon if the player followed a specific set of instructions, and didn’t even allow you to duplicate your items – which is Actually another mistake (Opens in a new tab) By itself in scarlet and purple.

Despite the bugs and glitches and Other technical problems Which is highly indicative of the less powerful Switch framework, Scarlet and Violet is still full of post-sale coin Ten million copies (Opens in a new tab) in three days.

There’s quite a bit of damage control to be done, but if Game Freak can make it right for users who feel like hiding from mistakes while still letting us continue the sneaky boarding maneuver, I’ll be happy about it.
