OnePlus collaborating with Keychron to make a mechanical keyboard

OnePlus today announced the ‘OnePlus Feature’, a co-creation platform where the company will work with different partners on new products. The first company to partner with OnePlus is Keychron on a futuristic PC keyboard.

The keyboard, a first for OnePlus, will feature a mechanical key layout with the ability to customize keys. No further details were mentioned about it, other than that it will be available globally in early 2023.

Mechanical keyboards are a popular category today with a strong enthusiast community. Keychron is a well-known name in the industry, having been in the business since 2017. The category was also chosen by members of the OnePlus community as a future product category for OnePlus and voted up in a poll conducted on the OnePlus forums.

The company also announced that it is in the process of launching two new monitors for PC, which indicates that it is very interested in making inroads into the PC market. By the way, Xiaomi also seems to be. The PC sector is clearly the next big battleground for these companies.
