Oppo’s first foray into the world of foldable devices came about a year ago with the Find N that was revealed during the annual Oppo Inno Day event. There is talk that we will see a successor to it at Inno Day 2022 this year later this month and a foldable phone may join it. Now the alleged Oppo Find N2 Flip has appeared in a short hands-on video on Weibo and it’s the first first-hand look at the rumored device.
Like most of our unreleased test devices, the Find N2 Flip is covered in our usual protective case. We can see that its large internal screen will have a punch-hole cutout at the top for a 32MP selfie camera. The foldable display is rumored to come in at 6.8 inches and we can also spot a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right side of the phone next to the volume keys.
The most interesting part is the external display, which is huge compared to any other foldable phone out there. Rumors have it measuring in at 3.26 inches and we can expect Oppo to add a lot of customization options and use cases to take advantage of its size.
There are a pair of cameras next to the external display – likely a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens. Previous rumors suggest that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be equipped with a Dimensity 9000+ chipset and a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
