Five of Riot’s most popular in-house games, including Valorant and League Of Legends, are coming to Xbox Game Pass on December 12th. This comes as part of Riot’s partnership with Microsoft, but you won’t need to actually play games on Game Pass in order to get some in-game freebies and unlockables.
You will only need a Riot Games account and Xbox Game Pass Membership To claim membership, which will be available from December 12th. If you hook up before January 1, there are even more in-game freebies to take advantage of.

If you’re not sure how to link your accounts, Riot Games has it Publish a comprehensive guide (Opens in a new tab) For both partnership and how to link accounts. Once you do, you’ll be able to access in-game loot for the following games when they land on Game Pass:
- brave
- league of legends
- Runeterra Legends
- Teamfight Tactics
- League of Legends: Wild Rift
League of Legends: Wild Rift mobile game is one of the first mobile games to be offered on Game Pass, but just because it’s on a different platform doesn’t mean you won’t get your free stuff. Players will get all current and future characters previously unlocked.
Likewise for League of Legends players, you’ll have both 160 individual champions unlocked and XP stored to boot.
Brave players who link their Riot and Game Pass accounts will also find that all playable heroes are unlocked. You’ll get 20 percent more XP for your event pass, battle pass, and agent progression. Speaking of customers, you’ll also get every future character unlocked from day one of release, meaning this is one gift that will keep giving.
Linking accounts also means you’ll get all of the foundation cards in Legends of Runeterra, a game that can be played on both PC and mobile.
Teamfights Tactics fans will get four arena skins, and a Rare Little Legend tactic will be added to their game. Starting in April 2023, linked players will receive a new Arena skin each month as part of the rotation.
